History
1985: Joptek Composites founded. Company functioned initially as engineering office for building design and bedrock-related excavations and construction.
1990: Product development project: Neste-house experimental house for Neste. Project marks beginning of company’s activities in composites industry.
1992: Flooring designed for Pendolino trains.
1993: Manufacturing of flooring for Pendolino trains begins.
1996: Façades panels supplied for Hartwall Arena.
1997: Manufacturing of components for ICS trains begins.
1998: First lightweight balcony systems for cruisers delivered.
1999: First bathroom modules for cruisers delivered.
2000: Move to new plant. First wet space modules for the construction industry delivered.
2001: Certified quality standards (ISO9001) are introduced. First exterior panels for trams delivered.
2002: Export operations started
2003: Marine industry refurbishment series exports started
2004: First bathroom components delivery for an Ultra-class cruiser ships
2005: Manufacture of sleeping coach cabins and WC modules for ICS trains
2006: Deliveries to Germany; new ICS train series
2007: Monocock composite bathrooms introduced. ISO14001 implemented.
2008: Deliveries to Spain, Italy and Germany. Big domestic marine projects.
2009: New Oassis-class cruiser ship project design and deliveries.
2010: Export to Russian market
